Get in touch
Call, WhatsApp, email or send an enquiry. Let us know your due date or your baby’s age, where you live in London and what kind of support you’re looking for.
An initial chat
We have a relaxed conversation about your needs and answer your questions, so you can decide whether we’re the right fit. [CONFIRM: phone, video or in person? Free of charge?]
Your plan and quote
We put together a simple plan with dates, hours and a clear quote, and confirm everything in writing before your care begins.
Care begins
We arrive ready to support you, and we keep talking along the way so your care can change as you and your baby do.
Frequently asked questions
How do I book?
Get in touch by phone, WhatsApp, email or the enquiry form. We will arrange a short initial chat to understand what you need, then confirm dates, hours and a quote in writing. Your booking is confirmed once you have agreed to the terms [CONFIRM: is a deposit required to secure a booking?].
When should I get in touch?
As early as you can. Many families contact us during pregnancy so that support is in place before the baby arrives, but you are welcome to get in touch at any stage, including after your baby is born. [CONFIRM: recommended time to book, e.g. second trimester]
Which areas do you cover?
We are based in London, United Kingdom. [ADD: the London boroughs or areas you cover] [CONFIRM: whether you travel outside London, and whether travel costs apply]
What happens at the first visit?
We take time to get to know you, your home and your plans for your baby. We talk through what support would help most, answer your questions, and agree how the time together will work. There is no pressure, and we go at your pace. [CONFIRM: is the first visit or initial chat free of charge?]
Do you offer overnight care?
[CONFIRM: whether overnight or night-time newborn care is available, and how it works.] Please get in touch to talk about the kind of support you are looking for.
Do you replace my midwife, health visitor or GP?
No. We offer general support and guidance and work alongside your NHS or private care team, not instead of them. If we notice something that needs medical attention we will encourage you to contact your midwife, health visitor, GP or NHS 111. In an emergency, always call 999.
How much does it cost?
Prices depend on the type of support, the number of hours and how long you would like care for. Contact us for a personalised quote. [ADD: price guide or starting prices, if you would like to show them]
What is your cancellation policy?
[CONFIRM: notice period needed to cancel or change a booking, and what happens to any deposit or payment.] Babies do not always arrive on their due date, so we will always try to be flexible if your baby comes early or late. [CONFIRM]
Can you help with feeding?
Yes, we can offer practical support and guidance with breastfeeding, bottle feeding or a combination. If you are having difficulties that need specialist help, we will suggest speaking to your midwife, health visitor or an infant feeding specialist.
Who will be caring for my family?
Care is led by Susan Mulungi Kisembo, a nurse and the person behind Divine Start. [ADD: NMC registration / qualifications] [CONFIRM: DBS check and insurance details]
